Connect MikroTik
Enable the API-SSL service on RouterOS with the 1Config guide, then create an API user for the dashboard.
Add the router
Enter the router URL and the API credentials in Settings. The dashboard tests the connection before it saves.

One Access Panel reaches into your router, so here is how that connection works and how you keep control of it.
Encrypted connection
The dashboard reaches your router over API-SSL, so the session travels over TLS. Winbox stays closed and no inbound dashboard port is exposed.
Credentials encrypted at rest
Router passwords are stored with AES-256-GCM. Account passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
Scoped router access
You give the dashboard a dedicated router user with API read and write access. It reads and writes configuration. It does not touch firmware or core system settings.
Router keeps running
Your router authenticates hotspot and PPPoE users on its own. If the dashboard goes offline, sessions continue and queued sales scripts sync when it returns.

Questions, answered
Do I need a public IP address?
Not necessarily. The dashboard reaches the router over the API-SSL port. A public address with a firewall rule, a port forward, or a VPN such as WireGuard all work.
Do I need to expose Winbox to the internet?
No. Winbox stays closed. The router only needs to accept the API-SSL port from the dashboard server. Restrict that port to the server address or keep it on a VPN.
Which RouterOS versions are supported?
RouterOS 7.x. Version 7.13 and newer poll faster and report session statistics more accurately. See the system requirements for details.
Can I manage routers in different locations?
Yes. Pro adds extra routers to the same account, each with its own settings, health and history. Switch between them from the sidebar.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There is no lock-in. Cancellation stops future renewals and your access continues to the end of the paid period. See the Terms and Conditions.
